Creating An Interactive Journal Card
I created this layout demonstrating my contrasting page title for this months Get it Scrapped assignment. Read the full article here.
To add visual interest, I often add interactive elements to my pages. It not only adds dimension but it also allows you to fit more photos on your page. For this layout I made a journal card that opens like a little book. This is also a great way to hide journaling that you may not want everyone to see.
My first step was to type out my journaling and attach it to a folded piece of card-stock. I added photos the same size as my journaling to the inside and outside cover. Once I trimmed off the extra paper, I added a tab and attached it to my layout.
The first photo shows the booklet open, and the second one shows the booklet closed.
